Oh Boy! It’s time for November’s DARDANELLA OF THE MONTH!
This time it’s a group called Mona’s Hot Four, from a gig (according to YouTube) recorded in New York City in 2009. The group plays a crowded bar, providing background noise for an audience that is indifferent to their efforts. That indifference does not hinder the performance, however, as the musicians direct their voices not to the crowd, but to each other.
There are many conversations in the room, but we are listening to this one.
