Yep, Plagiarism
You’re always going to find the occasional stolen tweet on the pages of Twitter. No big deal, yes? But once in a while you find a wholesale ripoff, where an individual callously wallpapers his entire timeline with the work of others. Your mind can boggle, if you let it, and the enormity of the theft. This evening I happened upon the timeline of @pizzaguy06 – and noticed one of my own tweets with...

Why Is It Called "Twitter" Drama?
I never became aware of this so-called “Twitter Drama” stuff until I got on Tumblr.

You know that scene at the end of It’s A Wonderful Life where everyone rushes in to give George Bailey baskets of money?

I've Been Podcasted! →
Well, I’ve finally had a chance to listen to the TwitTalkers interview of ME, your dear Internet compadre, and I must say that Donni Saphire did a fine job of editing down our sixteen hours of conversation into a good twenty minutes where I actually sound coherent. I thank him for his efforts, and especially for choosing me as the latest in his already impressive line-up of Twitter gag...

Why I Am Loathed By All
In high school I tried out for the basketball team, but they rejected me because of my lack of height.
I said screw that noise, so I went to join the Poetry Club. But they rejected me for my lack of depth.
So I went to Weight Watchers, because, what, are they going to reject me for not being wide enough?
They turned me down because I was too one-dimensional.
BOINGGGG!!!
A True Story
Since it’s almost that Truthful Tuesday thing that goes on around here, I thought I might as well tell a true story. Maybe “story” is too grandiose a word for it, so maybe call it a storyette.
Miss Jacobson, my fourth grade teacher (South Clement Avenue School, Milwaukee) used to read to us every day. She especially liked to read the Little House books, the series by Laura...

This is what greeted me as I stepped out of the office this evening.
And boy, when I talk about rainbows, do I sound FABULOUS!!!

lifeinsnapshot:
Hearing the news of Bin Laden’s death last night, and hearing/witnessing the reactions online and in the area where I live, I felt like I was from Mars or something because I did not feel joy or relief … just sadness and resignation.
Then this morning I read the intro to Ezra Klein’s Wonkbook…

Choose Goals That Thrill You Or None At All
My therapist tells me that my low self-esteem drives me to choose uninspiring goals for myself. I have decided to answer that challenge by beginning to train for the Olympics.
I hope I come in at least fourth place!
